❤️ Plan your journeys to/from Pride in advance! Travel in groups if possible, get in touch if you want travel company
🧡 Stay hydrated and well-fed throughout the day! Make use of our alcohol-free zones. Or, if drinking, please do so responsibly
💛 Drugs and `legal` highs are strictly prohibited
💚 We`ll have First Aid stations plus medical, security, and blue light staff available for any incidents
💙 Plan a meeting point for if you get lost. Speak to a volunteer if you need a stage announcement for a lost child/dependent!
💜 Lost property and people will be at the KMPG quiet space (the big red bus!)
🤎 Speak to our team in volunteer shirts, high-vis, St John`s, the Police, ARC security, or our accessibility volunteers. Please report any safety issues or concerns!
🖤 Photography and videography will be taking place on the day – contact us at info@channelislandspride.org to withdraw consent for this
💖 CI Pride finishes at 9pm unless you`re going to the Mojitos or Peninsula afterparties, or pool party on Sunday! 💃

The Channel Islands Pride celebrations are held in the islands of Guernsey and Jersey in alternating years to support, include, celebrate, and bring visibility to the local LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer/Questioning plus) communities.
CI Pride is a charity and volunteer-led, grassroots Pride organised by Liberate to support the LGBTQ+ community! Please consider donating the price of a coffee or a beer. If everyone who attends Pride did that, we could fund Liberate for half a year! Thank you for your support!

Wanna be a donkeycorn? meet outside town church on saturday at 1pm to suit up!
We need 50 volunteers to create a blessing of donkeycorns in the parade – first come, first served!
📏 must be 5ft+
👪 under 18s need a parent/carer/guardian to be a donkeycorn as well to take part!

Made up of LGBTQ+ folks and allies of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences, the Jersey-based choir will serenade us with a range of songs in two, three, and four-part harmonies. Join in for favourites like People Have the Power!
Why are they called Lavender Menace?
💟 Lavender as slang for MLM in the 1920s
💟 1950s Lavender Scare targeted homosexual federal employees in the USA
💟 Lavender marriages describe straight-presenting relationships typically used by Hollywood actors to conceal their LGBTQ+ identities
💟 Reclamation of the term coined by the feminist groups in the 1960s dubbing lesbians the `Lavender Menace.`
💟 Lavender (the flower & colour) has been a symbol of queer resilience throughout centuries, including the Stonewall Riots and other demonstrations.
Established in 2025 for a Liberation Day performance with Dr Adam Perchard, the choir is taught and led by Esther Rose Parkes.
They first performed at the Jersey Arts Centre, then at CI Pride in Jersey last year, before reconvening for the 2026 DIFERA Awards, where they received a standing ovation!

As a first-ever, La Vallette will transform into a HUGE Pride Village with full on festival vibes on Saturday 12th September! 🎪
