Pride is brought to you by Liberate

Channel Islands Pride Weekend in Guernsey: Small Seaside Pride. Big City Attitude.

Channel Islands Pride is the biggest FREE community event in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Organised by Liberate, the Channel Islands’ LGBTQ+ charity, Pride is a vibrant celebration of diversity, inclusion and community where everyone is welcome. Dress to express, wave your flags, make your banners and join thousands of people celebrating together.

Saturday

The Parade – where Pride comes to life

Whether you’re marching with friends, representing your organisation, waving a flag or simply soaking up the atmosphere, everyone is welcome to take part. Dress to express, make some noise and join thousands of people as the streets of St Peter Port are transformed into a vibrant celebration of diversity, inclusion and community.

Choose Your Journey

The Parade gathers at the Rainbow Steps in Market Square (kindly supported by PWC) before making its way behind Town Church, then heading along the seafront and finally arriving at the Pride Village at the Bathing Pools, where the celebrations continue throughout the afternoon and evening.

Whether you’re walking in the Parade or cheering from the sidelines, it’s an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of the Channel Islands Pride Weekend.

For those who would prefer to avoid the crowds or arrive at the Pride Village at their own pace, we’re also creating a Queer Nature Trail – kindly supported by CSC Global.

Starting from Bluebell Woods (entering from the German Cemetery War Memorial at Fort George), the trail will wind through beautiful woodland and spectacular cliff paths before descending the Cow Horn Steps and arriving beside the Main Stage in the Pride Village. Along the way, discover some of the wonderfully queer ways nature challenges our ideas about sex, sexuality and gender – from same-sex penguin couples to sex-changing fish and plants that refuse to stay neatly in one box.<br>It’s a chance to enjoy Guernsey’s natural beauty, take a more relaxed journey and still arrive ready to join the celebrations.

Whether you choose the energy of the Parade or the tranquillity of the Queer Nature Trail, everyone arrives together at the same destination – the beating heart of Channel Islands Pride.

Pride Village

As the Parade arrives at the Pride Village at the Bathing Pools, the celebrations move up a gear.

Set against Guernsey’s stunning seafront, with the historic Castle Cornet as its backdrop and panoramic views across the neighbouring Channel Islands, the Pride Village is the beating heart of Channel Islands Pride. Enjoy live entertainment, delicious food and drink, community stalls, family activities, immersive experiences and plenty of places to relax with friends as the celebrations continue throughout the afternoon and evening.
