Pride in the historic capital of St Peter Port

Do I need a passport or visa to travel to Guernsey?

Getting Here
It can take just 40 minutes to fly to Guernsey from England or three hours on a ferry. Or it takes just over an hour from France! Usually the sooner you book, the cheaper the travel – so get booking! You can get to Guernsey by flight or ferry with the providers listed below.

With Jersey’s excellent transport links, you could always island hop to Guernsey via Jersey! Jersey is served by the following flight providers: Aer Lingus, Blue Islands, British Airways, Easter Airways, EasyJet, Jet2.com, Lufthansa, and more!
You can get a flight to Guernsey via Jersey from Dublin, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Exeter, Norwich, Rennes, Southampton, London, Humberside, Teeside, Amsterdam, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Dusseldorf, Poole and Portsmouth!

By sea

Islands Unlimited - High speed, reliable inter-island passenger ferry between Guernsey and Jersey. Services available 5-days a week. Islands Unlimited runs a ferry service between the two Bailiwicks of Jersey and Guernsey twice a day except Mondays and Wednesdays.

Brittany Ferries UK - Fast ferry services between Jersey, Poole, Portsmouth and Guernsey. Brittany Ferries operates two ferry routes between Guernsey and England: Poole (3 hours) and Portsmouth (7 hours 35 minutes). Journey takes between 1-2 hours between Jersey and Guernsey.

Manche-Iles Express - Ferries from Granville, Carteret and Diélette in France to Guernsey. Channel Islands ferries between Jersey, Guernsey, Sark & Alderney.

Isle of Sark Shipping - The Isle of Sark Shipping Company operates a year-round ferry service between Guernsey and Sark (~45 minutes). Several ferries run each day during the summer, with reduced daily trips offered out of season.

Alderney Ferry Services - The ferry service between Guernsey and Alderney, and Cherbourg and Alderney. Operates March - October.
