We respect your right to privacy and will keep safe any personal details that you give us in line with GDRP regulations. We will only ask you to give us personal details if you wish to register and we will only keep those details for as long as you wish to be a volunteer for Channel Islands Pride LGBTQ+ Community.

All volunteers will get discounted tickets to a surrounding event of their choice as a small thank you from Liberate and Channel Islands Pride.

Volunteer Position Descriptions

Event Setup

In the week running up to our Pride festival we will require volunteers to support us in setting up Pride. This can include hanging decorations, moving furnishings, installing signage etc.

We will have a number of tasks that will require support in the weeks running up to Pride. This can include flyer drops to promote our events or the hanging of banners and posters.

Pop up shop: We will be taking over the OSA pop up shop the week before Pride. We require volunteers to help in the shop in two hours shifts from the 29th August to 2nd of September between 10am and 4pm. We’ll be selling merchandise and event tickets and raising awareness for Pride.

Stalls at events before Pride: We are planning to attend various events such as Seafront Sunday’s, Vale Earth Fair and the West Show. We require volunteers to help with these stalls. We’ll be selling merchandise and event tickets and raising awareness for Pride.

Runner on Pride Day: pride day itself requires a lot of volunteers to keep the day running smoothly. We require flexible volunteers that are happy to chip in wherever needed. This could be anything from helping with the giant rainbow flag, manning a stall, ‘shaking’ charity buckets, making sure performers get to where they need to be, handing out headphone for the silent disco etc.
